How is the obedience in France? Have you trained with your cotons or do you know anyone training obedience / competiting with cotons in France? Or tends it to be a forum of the races of bigger size there? Here in Finland I am used to be the one who has the smallest dog of all 8) but we have been welcome to the clubs and I have really enjoyed training with my cotons. And my older coton really loves training! She is jumping of gladness and her face is like a sunshine always when we start training. She loves all the tricks which may help her to earn some pieces of treats. :D

No, it is not agility - we have done agility as well, but obedience means following, apporting, jumping - in higher classes jumping an apportable bois in mouth, sitting when asked, going down and staying when asked, coming when asked, stopping when asked, running to the marked area and going down there when asked, etc.. (example, the photos may tell more than an explanation): http://www.flatpower.fi/smtoko2006/ (just scroll down a little bit, there are photos..)
I also put an old short videoklip about training Hippu to this forum. I hope you will catch the idea what about I am talking. :D
